Fees For Service

Community Solutions of Central Oregon provides professional, accessible, cost-effective services to all clients.

Standard Mediation Services:

• $180 per hour  
• The initial session to be billed for two hours - $360.  Subsequent sessions are billed in half-hour increments. 
• Parties to a dispute are encouraged to share the cost for mediation unless otherwise negotiated by the parties.

Family Court Mediation:  Divorce, Legal Separation, Custody, and Parenting Plan Mediation

• $180 per hour for mediation and document preparation of court filing attachments such as a mediated agreement, child support worksheet, and parenting plan.
• Scheduling Fee: $90* - paid upon confirmation of first appointment.
• Our per-hour fee is approximately half of what one party to a dispute would pay for an attorney. When both parties engage in the collaborative process of mediation, they pay 25% of what it would cost to retain an attorney.  Please refer to our Family Court Orientation Page for more information about the cost savings of family court mediation.
  

*Appointments for Family Court services are in high demand and these dates are the first to fill our calendar.  An initial mediation scheduling fee of $90 is required at the time you schedule your appointment.  100% of this fee goes towards your first mediation session and is completely refundable if you cancel prior to 48 hours of your session.  Cancellation within 48 hours of your appoint, the fee is non-refundable. 

Fee payments can be made at our office, over the phone, or via secure webmail. We accept cash, check, or credit card.

Financial Hardship:

Community Solutions recognizes that not everyone will have the resources necessary to pay our standard fees. In cases where one or both parties are experiencing levels of legitimate financial hardship, our staff is authorized to apply a sliding scale for fee reduction.  Please be prepared to provide proof of income by paystubs, proof of government assistance, or other such documentation deemed appropriate to validate the request for reduced fees.
